MISSION & VISION.

Projet Communautaire de Pierrefonds emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 1995, we are a community organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.

Projet Communautaire de Pierrefonds strives to create an environment which is deeply sensitive to, and respectful of the needs and aspirations of children and their families - an environment which is especially committed to recognizing and valuing the diversity of people from all ethnic communities. We are an organization that is open, flexible, and accessible, and we work to ensure that our programs are tailored to community needs and priorities.

Our mission is to help multi-ethnic and low-income families by providing useful and affordable programs and services that:

  • offer respite and relief from isolation and loneliness by bringing together members of various ethnic communities;

  • encourage greater understanding and tolerance among various community groups;

  • help promote positive mental health;

  • prepare vulnerable children and students for greater academic and socially-based success.

Projet Communautaire de Pierrefonds' vision is to become a widely recognized community leader delivering valuable, results-based programs and services that greatly benefit and meet the needs of children, students, multi-ethnic and low-income families across the West Island.
